April Showers Bring May Flowers!

In anticipation of those beautiful May flowers, M-Friends has two gardening events planned for April. Hopefully, the weather will cooperate and we won't get rained out. The first of these is "Installing a Water Garden" on April 12th at my house. Don't worry, I'll already have the hole dug (I hope) so there's no back-breaking labor involved. The second gardening event is on April 26 at Allecia's house. We'll have a Master Gardener on hand to give gardening tips and will have free heirloom vegetable seedlings for everyone. Join us and exercise your green thumb.

May's theme is Cinco de Margarita so we'll have to have an M-Friends dinner at my favorite Mexican restaurant, Abuelo's. That is a moral imperative!  May week-long celebrations include Astronomy Week, Gamblers Week and American Craft Beer Week.  Hmmm! Maybe we can have a beer brewing event hosted by our favorite brewmeister, Dick Shaw. How bout it Dick?

Other special days in May include:

May 4 – World laughter Day
May 4 – Star Wars Day: “May the fourth be with you.”
I swear I did NOT make this up
May 5 – Bonza Bottler Day
May 10 – Astronomy Day
May 11 – Mother’s Day
